Friday 8th July - Summer BBQ and Quiz Despite the poor weather the BBQ carried on (well inside anyway) and the burgers and hot dogs flowed to order. The bad weather resulted in a poor turnout for the quiz but four teams took part and Team Supplement took the first place prize. So if you are up on your general knowledge and current news and know what a wobbegong is - why not turn up to the next quiz on Saturday 26th November at 8:30 |

Saturday 29th October—Charity Variety Night Wot a night !! - the club was heaving with a smartly dressed crowd eagerly anticipating the variety acts which had been lined up. After swift introductions and a quick presentation given by a representative of HULA— the Charity to which the proceeds went—the compere Comedy Dave (Rawle) took to the stage. Throughout the evening 8 acts entranced the crowd—we hope to shortly have a review of the acts and hopefully some photos . . . . . . . The event raised over £400 for the Charity - a big well done to everyone involved !!! |
